The brief

A newly married couple wanted their first home to feel finished and personal on a genuinely modest budget, without it looking like a budget compromise. They were also clear that the design needed to accommodate a family down the line — this wasn't meant to be redone in three years.

The approach

We prioritized spend on the pieces that would matter for the long term — durable flooring, a well-planned kitchen, and quality bedroom storage — while keeping living-room furniture curated rather than custom, which kept costs down without looking cheap. The layout was planned with a convertible study that can become a nursery without any structural change, addressing the "grows with the family" requirement directly rather than as an afterthought.

A complete, considered home delivered within a modest budget, with a clear and already-drawn path for how the apartment adapts as the family grows.
