Downtown Design Studio Office

The brief

A growing creative agency had outgrown a generic serviced office and wanted a space that reflected the quality of their work to clients walking through the door, without the budget of a full corporate headquarters. The brief specifically ruled out anything that looked like a converted apartment — a common failure mode for small office fit-outs in the city.

The approach

We kept the open floor plan for daily collaboration but built two fully acoustic-separated meeting rooms so client calls and internal reviews never bleed into each other — a practical problem the client had struggled with in their previous space. Walnut joinery and a warm, muted palette give the space an editorial quality rather than a corporate one, and a dedicated material library wall doubles as both storage and a subtle showcase of the agency's own work.

Result

An office that functions as a quiet sales tool — several clients have commented on the space unprompted during meetings, which was exactly the brief.
