Corniche Apartment

The brief

A single professional wanted an apartment that felt like a finished space, not a starter home — without the budget or square footage of a villa project. Storage was the biggest practical constraint: everything needed a place, but nothing could look stored.

The approach

Built-in joinery replaced freestanding furniture wherever possible, keeping the small footprint visually calm. A warm, editorial palette — walnut, brass accents, cream walls — gives the apartment a boutique-hotel feel rather than a rental-apartment one. Lighting was zoned carefully so the same room could work for video calls by day and relaxed evenings by night.

Result

A 95 m² apartment that reads considerably larger, and functions as both a home office and a place the client is proud to host in.
